The OpenNTS project concluded after a year.
There is demonstrated interest in a centralized platform for discovery of extracurricular courses from various providers in Switzerland, and several important discussions were held between stakeholders. Despite this, no business model that would sustain the development and maintenance of such a platform (which would essentially provide a public service) was found after several iterations.
An alternative way of continuing with exploration of this concept was to do so in the context of the Trainings for Open Access Services and Tools (TOAST) project, but that project proposal was rejected.
As such, the proof of concept catalogue system based on ELIXIR TeSS has been shut down. This website remains as an archive of discussions in the project.
